The cold chain knows no pauses. We protect freezers, cold stores and production lines against losses that start counting from the first minute of an outage.

Sector challenges

01

The cold chain

A temperature rise in a freezer means losing entire batches of goods and a sanitary risk.

02

Sanitary regime

HACCP production processes require documented continuity of parameters — including power.

03

Seasonal loads

Summer peaks and harvest campaigns multiply the demand for cooling power.

What we deliver

  • Standby generator sets sized for refrigeration compressors and their inrush currents.
  • Cogeneration — cheaper electricity and process heat for processing plants.
  • ATS automation with priority for refrigeration installations.
  • Monitoring and preventive service ahead of seasonal peaks.

What an outage costs

Before we calculate the power, we calculate the consequences of losing it. They decide the system architecture.

Broken cold chain

A temperature rise in a freezer means losing entire batches — and having to document the event to your customers.

HACCP non-compliance

Temperature logging is mandatory. A gap in the record can cost as much as the temperature excursion itself.

Seasonal peaks

Harvest campaigns and summer heat multiply cooling demand — the worst possible moment for a failure.

How we work

01

Audit and sizing

We analyse the load profile, inrush currents and the facility's formal requirements.

02

Design and delivery

Our own design office engineers the system; production builds the equipment for your project.

03

Installation and commissioning

Installation, ATS integration, load testing and operator training.

04

Service and care

Periodic inspections and support throughout the system's entire service life.

Standards and requirements

We size the power system to the inrush currents of the refrigeration compressors, not merely to their rated power — the most common mistake when a cold store is extended. Transfer automation gives priority to refrigeration, and temperature logging meets the HACCP requirement for continuous records of storage conditions.

Frequently asked questions

Will the generator handle compressor starting?

Only if it was sized with a margin for inrush current. A refrigeration compressor draws a multiple of its rated current at start-up, so we derive the generator size from a starting analysis and stagger the sequence in which loads are re-energised.

How long will the chamber hold temperature without power?

It depends on insulation, how full the chamber is and the outside temperature — a well-filled freezer has far more inertia than an empty one. We calculate this for the specific facility and use it to set the required standby start-up time.

Does cogeneration work in food processing?

Yes, where the plant needs process heat — steam or hot water for washing and sanitation. Electricity and heat are then produced in a single process, with total system efficiency above 90%.
